Mit Jasper als Fahrer und Reiseführer haben wir einen wunderbaren Tag erlebt. Das beginnt mit Jaspers vortrefflicher Organisationsgabe - wir erreichten alle Besichtigungs- uns sogar Verpflegungspunkte vor den Touristenschlangen. Was gerade mich als Kunsthistoriker zum Staunen brachte, waren die umfassenden Geschichtskenntnisse Jaspers, der über Jahrhunderte Zusammenhänge so klar darstellen konnte, dass sogar meine aus China stammende Frau unschwer nachvollziehen konnte, was sich einst in den architektonischen Zeugnissen abspielte - lebendige Geschichtserzählung. Die Mittagspause genossen wir zu zweit mit den Stammgästen eines ländlichen Restaurants. Jaspers dortige Weinempfehlung bewirkte, dass wir vor der Rückkehr am Flughafen noch für Nachschub sorgten. Das tönt und ist alles sehr professionell; dabei war vielleicht Jaspers Liebenswürdigkeit und Geduld die wichtigsten Voraussetzungen zum Gelingen dieses unvergesslichen Tages. Ganz herzlichen Dank! Unsere Tour war von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend organisiert. Da Jasper alle Tickets im Voraus für uns besorgt hatte, konnten wir alle Warteschlangen umgehen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tag mit vielen Informationen. Jasper ist auf alle unsere Bedürfnisse und Wünsche eingegangen und somit war die Tour für uns ein ganz individuelles Erlebnis. Für all diejenigen, die in kurzer Zeit viel sehen möchten ist es die perfekte Tour.

Herzlichen Dank an Jasper, es war ein sehr schöner Ausflug. Wir haben viele Informationen über die Sehenswürdigkeiten erhalten. Alles war super organisiert, wir mussten nie anstehen. Gerne wieder einmal.

Firstly he was on time, in fact, before the appointed time, which impresses, as most of our other guides in Singapore and other places in Spain and Portugal from other companies were either late, disorganised or weren’t where they were supposed, or identifiable as they were supposed to be, and didn’t provide what had been paid for. His vehicle was immaculate and clean both inside and out. He had cooled bottles of water available for us, which is commendable and thinking ahead, especially in the heat we experienced. Each of us felt that he made sure that we were all individually being catered for, not just as a group.

He explained the day fully and ensured everyone was happy with the plans and about asking any questions, needing any explanations or asking for anything. It wasn’t just a case of Jasper going through the motions, but we had confidence that he not only meant what he said, and that he could and would deliver. There is a big difference between saying and doing. Jasper did both! He spoke in very good English, which was easily understandable. He never spoke too fast, as have others on our tours. He waited until everyone had caught up, instead of just giving attention to those closest. It became evident that he had studied a great deal to be able to provide a great deal of interesting and informative material on a wide range of topics dealing with the tour. He was also able to provide other relative information such as road rules, driving requirements, weather, information on other towns, safety aspects, eating places, what to watch out for…etc., and this was really appreciated. Jasper has a great sense of humour and mixed in well with the group and it made the tour enjoyable and entertaining for everyone. One aspect where he has outshone others, was his attention to detail and keeping a close eye on everyone in the group, not just the ones closest to him.

He was very diligent, similar to how a teacher is with a class of students and made sure everyone stayed safe in certain critical areas where a trip hazard, or obstacle could impact. He organised a restaurant for lunch, that provided the best service, and the best food at reasonable prices on our holidays so far over a 3 week period in Singapore, Spain and Portugal. He made sure he explained things first and that we were happy with his selection. It was obvious that he had everything in place before we arrived, and we had the confidence that we would not be let down. His guidance and information has been a bonus in the couple of days since the tour, because the information sunk in and stayed with us. We went on another tour with another guide from another company and comparisons were made. The guide came nowhere near Jasper’s ability and expertise. He set the standard, a very high one. For instance, our 2 nd guide arrived late. She came along yawning openly and telling us she was tired. She did provide what was promised and advertised. She was young, about half our age, yet she was struggling to walk up hills in Lisbon. Her English was at times difficult to fully understand, she did not look out as well for people, and spoke with her back turned or while she was getting stuff out of her bag and in the noise around, we could not hear her. She was poor at taking group photos and we had to ask her to stop as we were getting thirsty. She wasn’t aware of our needs……

There were no issues or complaints with Jasper or the way he conducted his tour. His vehicle was very comfortable and it became obvious that he had taken the time to select a car that was quiet, comfortable and afforded excellent rear seating to view the sights. In our opinion, he provided attention to the smallest detail, even having a spot under trees in the shade in an organised car park, so the car was cool when we returned to resume the trip. We wish to thank Jasper for a truly great experience, which has been a highlight of our tour so far.

We had a 3-day trip with Portugal 360. The pick-up service from the Airport was perfectly organized. We visited Fátima. After a good lunch, we visited the fortified city of Óbidos and Batalha. Évora it is also a must see city. As wine lovers, we visited the famous wine cellar of Cartuxa in Évora, and took a tour to wine cellars in Setúbal. We go to Portugal frequently and we highly recommend them for an organized trip. Jasper and Vanessa we thank you for these outstanding days.
